Prepare for Battle

Hello all,
Only days until we go back in time and defend King and Country in the Battle of Fort George, for the Cubs and Scouts attending, this will be an another excellent camp!
For the Scouts, our service to the King's 8th Regiment continues,
For the Cubs, it is a great learning experience about our past!

Hope the weather report holds!
God Save the King!

Greetings to all,
Time to get this blog restarted!
I will do my best to make a weekly post about the group on this blog!
Here is the first to begin this season,

Sorry for the delay to all, we have had some school permit challenges to start off our year.
I would like to invite all those that have preregistered and those wanting to register for the upcoming Scouting year to Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre, large hall, on Monday Sept 15, 2014, from 7pm to 8 pm.
The Jim Archdekin Recreation Centre is at 292 Conestoga Drive, beside Heart Lake Secondary School.
There will be a short presentation of information and packages to be handed out,
Those wanting to register, Leaders will be present to answer questions that you may have about the programs.
Also, for those preregistered in all sections, we have information about the upcoming year, please attend this short event.
This will also be our Popcorn Fundraiser Kick off, as well.

For those registered for The Battle of Fort George camp, which is fast approaching, we will have a brief meeting about this event.

Any questions, feel free to drop me a line

September is almost here.

Hello all,
The CNE is in full swing, which notes that shortly the school year will begin again.
With the school year starting, so does the 11th Brampton group.
The summer sure zipped by, unfortunately, our plans for a picnic and rocket launch during the summer did not quite come together. Sorry about that.
Akela, Scouter Bill and I have already attended an information session on the upcoming Popcorn campaign, PROJECT Popcorn. There are some pretty cool things to show and tell you about.
We have a lodge booked for the fall camp (Sept 30, Oct 1 and 2)and a theme for the fall camp has been selected. The theme has something about this quote "Do or do not, there is not try"
Things are starting up and emails will be coming out shortly.
Enjoy what is left of the summer and see you all soon.
